Sara Evans has only had one lifelong dream: she wants to compose and sing country music. "God placed me on this planet to be a singer," said Evans, as quoted by John Meroney of American Enterprise. "It's the thing I'm passionate about and do the most, and I'm going to succeed in it." Additionally, Evans wanted to succeed in bringing back the classic country tunes that were brought to life by famous stars like Patsy Cline, Hank Snow, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, and Patty Loveless, musicians Evans considered her greatest models. Through the 1990s, the time when many aspiring country music stars turned to new, pop radio-friendly tunes, Evans made her initial mark by performing country songs that drew inspiration from the past which was evident in her debut album from 1997, True Lies. The album was not greeted with critical appreciation and a nomination by the Academy of Country Music in 1998 as the most promising female singer, True Lies made little an impact. Evans was able to convince her to modify the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. It gave her the fame she'd had been seeking for years. Sara Evans was a born in Columbia Missouri on the 5th of February, 1971. The first years she spent there together with six siblings and brothers.
