Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress, is well-known for her portrayals of Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" and Dr. Lane Hunter in the Medical drama "The Resident.' She is also most well-known as the character of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama 'CSI NY", she played Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama 'The Resident.' She also received recognition for her TV debut performance in the CBS soap show Guide Light, playing Eleni Cooper. Her appearances have been in a variety of movies, including '15 Minutes, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief', and 'Snitch.
